On 11th July 2026, Penny Smiles Foundation successfully organized a charity outreach and donation exercise at Volta Home in the Volta Region of Ghana. The primary objective of the outreach was to improve the living conditions of the residents by donating essential food items, hygiene products, and vocational training equipment. The outreach was led by a dedicated team comprising:

The team coordinated logistics, procurement, transportation, distribution of donations, interaction with management, and beneficiary engagement.
Beyond providing immediate relief through food and sanitary supplies, the Foundation made a long-term investment in the lives of the residents by donating two industrial sewing machines, an intervention expected to significantly improve vocational training and economic empowerment within the Home. The project was highly successful and greatly appreciated by the management and beneficiaries of Volta Home.
The Foundation spent a total of GH¢12,844.22 on the project.
Challenges Encountered
The project was successfully executed with minimal challenges. The primary operational costs related to transportation and logistics due to the distance to the Volta Region, but these were effectively managed by the Foundation.
Conclusion
