The first quarter project came off on the 6th of March 2026 which featured ambassadors; Ernest Ayensu, Oteng Yaw Aboagye, Theophilus Gyan Mante, Janet Impraim and Ruth Ayensu. The journey began around 7:00 am where the team went to the market to purchase the various items requested by the homes.
At 8:40 am the team arrived at the first home, that is Remar Ghana at Tema. The team was received by the in charge and the children. We stated our purpose of been and our commitment to supporting them whenever they call on us. The team engaged the children, advised them on the career path and how they will get there if they put in much efforts and stay focus. We thought the children a song which they were excited and sung with gladness.

Items such as Toiletries, Rice, Tin tomato, Drinks, Cooking oil, Pepsodent etc. in addition to cash were presented to the home by Mrs. Ruth Ayensu and Mr. Theophilus Gyan Mante respectively. Prayers were said by the children to the team. Pleasantries were exchanged and the team departed because they had to visit the children at Gracious Hands, Oyibi.
At 2:30pm, the team arrived at Gracious Hand home, where the children were in great anticipation of our arrival. Our arrival was meet with songs by the children and after, prayers were said for the team. Mr Ayensu was called to address the home. He motivated them to dream big.

The home needed some NHIS card renewals, hence, as our core mandate, we took all the cards and renewed them. However, there were new list of new registrations. An arrangement has been made with the in charge to engage the NHIS officials to get the registration for these new children which will be the cost of penny smiles foundation when they are done with the arrangement.
Various items such as Gari, sugar, Rice, Soaps etc. were handed over to the home by our sister Janet Impraim. Before our departure the caretakers showed their appreciation and the children prayed for us for more blessings to do the good things we are doing to not only them but any needy people in the society and the country at large.
The team asked for permission to depart to their destinations. It was a successful project embarked.
An amount of Ghs 9,895.72 was spent on the project.
Challenges.
There were no major challenges encountered, however we still recommend that the foundation gets her own transportation system to aid in upcoming project because this time around we were lucky that the car we always put our eyes on was available and even with that we had to drop some ambassadors who wanted to be part of the trip just because of the non-availability of space in the car.
Hence it will be of a great pleasure if the organization gets her own car , therefore we appeal to members to help us secure one in anyway be it a lead to a sponsor or anything because it will be a great asset to the foundation in executing her responsibilities, reduce cost and any unforeseen disappointment and project postponement
Conclusion
The people of Remar Ghana and Gracious Hand Foster Home were excited and the emissaries were highly motivated for been part of the project trip. May the good Lord bless us all for remembering the Oyibi community. If they say a prayer, they will surely say one for us. May God bless us all. Long live PSF!
