Medical support for mr. collins tuda

INTRODUCTION
Generally, the visit to the community was successful and very fruitful as many interesting events unfolded. Emissaries present were: Isaac Manu, Ernest Ayensu, Oteng Yaw Aboagye, Janet Impraim, Richard Ayensu, Razak Hamidu, Dorcas Ahenkorah, and Afua Ankomaa Odoom. The team took off from Katamanso at around 8:15 am on Saturday, 7th October, 2023, and arrived at Oyibi around 9:20 am. We were warmly welcomed by the people of the Oyibi community led by Mr Kumii who was patiently seated waiting for us.
ACTIVITIES
An amount of Ghc 7,070 was spent on the project.
CHALLENGES
The major challenge was that, from the beginning of the registrations, the beneficiaries were not many hence the team had to incur the extra cost of fueling the NHIS vehicle, which had horns to roam through the town to announce our presence for them to come and do the registration. Also, there was a light out at around 3:30 pm therefore the process had to be truncated and those affected had their details taken for later processing at the NHIS office, this also added additional cost.
CONCLUSION
The people of Oyibi were excited and the emissaries also enjoyed themselves. May the good Lord bless us all for remembering the Oyibi community. If they say a prayer, they will surely say one for us. May God bless us all. Long live PSF!
Introduction
The Second Quarter Project, dubbed, “Journey to the North & South” was aimed at visiting some orphanage homes in the Northern and Southern sectors of Ghana. It was initially scheduled to be held on 24th June, 2023 but due to lack of funds, it was postponed to 8th July, 2023. The orphanage homes that were initially selected for this project included; Bongo Orphanage home (Church of Christ Orphanage Home) in Bongo-Upper East Region, Village of Hope (Greater Accra & Central region), Fafraha Home (Greater Accra region) and Mama Lardi Home (Upper East region).
All the above homes were not attended to as planned due to inadequate funds raised so priority was given to Bongo Orphanage Home and for the remaining homes NHIS registration and renewals were made for them based on requests received from them.
The visit to Bongo Orphanage home was successful and very fruitful as many interesting events unfolded. Emissaries present were: Ernest Ayensu (Executive Director),Isaac Manu(Head of Finance and Publicity) and Harriet Ansah (Ambassador). The team left Accra at around 6:30pm on friday, 7th July 2023 and arrived at the home on saturday, 2:00pm, where we were warmly welcomed. It was indeed a journey
Activities
The kids were actively engaged by Mr. Isaac Manu he led them to sing so happily. He also advised them on the need to be obedient and to keep their dreams high.
As part of the project activities, we were to have visited other homes like Village of hope ( Ayawaso & Gomoa Fetteh ,Frafraha Foster Home) but it did not come off due to insufficient funds so we resulted to getting their NHIS registered which we did for Ayawaso because they needed it. The total cost was GHC 189.00.
Therefore, the total expenditure on the Second Quarter Project was GH¢ 6,628.
Challenges and Recommendations
The main challenge had to do with the long distance as the team spent over 30hours in the bus. On such long distances, the team should use flight to reduce the hours and risk involved in such travels.
We still need a car as an organization to reduce the transportation cost.
Conclusion
The children really had fun and the emissaries also enjoyed themselves. May the good Lord bless us all for remembering these little ones. If they say a prayer, they will surely say one for us. May God bless us all. Long live PSF!
Glory be to God almighty for another successful project. The year 2023 has begun well for the
organization and one thing we are proud of as ambassadors is the willingness to respond to duty
anytime we are called upon.
The CARE FOR THE POOR PROJECT came off on 07th April 2023 which saw the following emissaries
gracing the occasion Mr. Ernest Ayensu, Mr. Felix Tetteh, Miss Mary Afari, Miss Matilda Agbesi, Miss
Akyede Pa, Mr. Razak Hamidu, Mr. Francis Dzamesi, Miss Janet Impraim, Mr. Moses Arthur, Mr.
Philip Frimpong, and Mr. Emmanuel Ebo Essel.
The journey began at 7:00 am where members started gathering together and at 9:00am, the team
set off to visit their first home AKWADUM CHRISTIAN HOME in AKWADUM– EASTERN REGION.
The team got there and began engagement with the one of the caretaker called Miss Dzifa at the
premises who welcomed us. Mr. Ernest Ayensu revealed the intentions of our visitation.
Miss Dzifa, together with three other caregivers further engaged the team by giving account and
history of the home, which was very interesting and heartfelt message as it gave the team a mental
picture of their story. The dedication as well as the effort they are putting in to make the children
feel at home requires physical, emotional, and spiritual preparation. The home now has about 41
children presently.
The emissaries were given the opportunity to ask questions, of which they received answers to their
satisfaction. Items such as STATIONARY, 50kg OF RICE, TOILETRIES, HALF BAGS OF MAIZE, BEANS
and GARI, COOKING OIL, TOMATO PASTE, and A CANTON OF MILO AND MILK were presented to
the home. These items were presented by Mr. Moses Arthur.
The goods were received with much appreciation and a word of prayer was said for the team. The
team also expressed their appreciation for the warm reception given and asked permission to leave
since there was another journey before them.
The second Home was to JEHOVAH RAPHA CHILDREN’S HOME– SUHUM, EASTERN REGION, equally
warm reception was received as the in-charge was in anticipation awaiting our arrival. We arrived,
pleasantries given and the team introduced themselves individually.
The in-charge re-iterated the importance and the value our support will give to the children and the
Home at large. She told us the history of the home and how they have been supporting the children
all these while. Currently, they have about 37 children, including a baby who is barely six (6) months
old.
The team upon further discussion handed over their items such included STATIONARY, 50kg OF
RICE, TOILETRIES, HALF BAGS OF MAIZE, BEANS and GARI, COOKING OIL, TOMATO PASTE, and A
CANTON OF MILO AND MILK and SOFT DRINKS to the home. Presentation was done by Mr. Philip
Frimpong.
An amount of GHc 9957.00 was spent on 1st Quarter Project.
Pictures were taken, prayers were offered by the home to the foundation and finally, we
departed.
Team members got to their respective homes safely by God’s Grace and the day’s journey brought
to an end.
In conclusion, the project was a success.
