supporting the future now

Introduction

We are so glad once again that our journey to Volta Home Orphanage on the 1st of March was
a successful one by the grace of God. The PSF representatives were Ernest Ayensu
(Executive Director), Oteng Yaw Aboagye (Head of Strategy and Coordination) and
Ambassadors Janet Impraim, Comfort Nusetor Akorfa, and Kwakye Enoch Akwasi.
The team left Accra at around 8:00 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025, and arrived at home
around 2:00 pm, where we were warmly welcomed. It was indeed a nice journey.

Activities

The mission of our visit was narrated by Mr. Ernest Ayensu on behalf of the team to
the children and the caretakers of the home. From there Mr. Emmanuel, a
correspondent from the home gave us an update and the happenings of the home
concerning how far the PSF team has been helping and the impact our generosity is
having on the children and the home at large.

 Some profound revelations and successes chopped by the children were highlighted by
Mr. Emmanuel such as in the world the home was selected among the best five (5)
homes who participated in a project challenge organized by HP company and the
whole Africa it is Volta Home Orphanage who topped the exercise and in last year’s
BECEtoo they topped in the district.

 They were so happy to hear the good tidings we brought as they requested for some
items as well as the renewals of the NHIS.

 Time with the children: Ambassadors Oteng, Janet and Akorfa engaged the children
in singing, life admonishment, and advice that will help them reach far in life.

 Prayers were offered by the Home to the PSF family to continue to be blessed as they
continue their mission of supporting the less privileged in society.

An amount of Ghc 8,269.55 was spent on the project.

Challenges and Recommendations

The main challenge had to do with the long distance as the team spent several hours on the
road to and fro but with the good will of God we arrived home safely.
We still need a car as an organization to reduce the transportation cost.

Conclusion

The children had fun and final pleasantries were exchanged leading to the departure of the team.
May the good Lord bless us all for remembering these little ones. If they say a prayer, they
will surely say one for us. May God bless us all. Long live PSF
